I grew up across the street from Sandra and her family in Cresthill. I will hold the Smith family in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless and keep you and provide you comfort during this most difficult of times.

We lost Mom and Dad (Mrs. Jean and Mr. Don, as many neighborhood kids will remember them) this year and they loved the Smith family and thought of the children as part of our extended family.

I remember Sandra when she was a young teen, maybe 13 or 14. I remember a very sweet and happy young lady who was always smiling. She loved children then as for she would baby sit my little one, Ashley. I have seen her through the years with the same sweet and happy smile. I was fortunate not long ago to spend some girl time with Sandra and her sister, Robbin, in a down town park kicked back on a blanket. Still, I saw a sweet and smiling young lady, only to have her own daughter Caroline to love more. Robbin, thank you for the girl time! I love you girlfriend and remember, I am here for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
