To all the family and loved ones of Paula, especially Ricky, Sharee and Theresa, my deepest condolences are with you... I met Paula 3 years ago. We became quick friends as her friendly personality drew me in,not to mention we have the same birthday! Her perserverance through her disease was phenomenal. She was the most determined and greaceful person I have ever known. She seemed to take her illness with such ease. Never did she coplain. She always pushed herself to get stronger. I loved her and admired her so much for that. Paula was truly an amazing woman to know her is to love her and to be loved by her was even more of a blessing. I was blessed to have known her and spend as much time with her as I did. I miss her already, she will always hold a special place in my heart. When I think of Paula I think kitty cats, sunflowers, and great gardens. I miss you so much Paula, but I know your suffering has ended and now you can be the angel you always were here on earth. Rest Peacfully my friend. You will always be thought of with a smile.

When we think of Paula, we think of someone selfless, taking care of other people with concern for others. Her laughter, her strength and her constant battle with an illness that she refused to give in to. She was a woman who battled every day for her life and gave it her best. She is a hero and is now breathing freely in heaven in reunion of those she loved. We will miss Paula's relationships, but we are gtateful that she suffers no more. We love you Paula.

Paula was the epitome of a southern lady. Her graciousness, kindness, cheerful spirit, and generosity will never be matched. The many kindnesses she did as a friend and neighbor will never be forgotten. Anyone who was lucky enough to have met her was undoubtedly touched for life. Paula worried more about her kitties than herself. The Rainbow Bridge is now a brighter spot with Paula there with all of her animals. My thoughts and prayers are with you Ricky, Theresa, and all of the family.

We were so lucky to have met and been friends and neighbors to Paula (and Ricky) all these years. She was quick to laugh, loved her cats and a good horror movie and she could gossip with the best of them! Paula you will be truly missed; I loved hanging out with you and the neighborhood will never be the same.

I am so, so sorry to hear this. I grew up with Paula when she was with Aunt Net and Uncle James. Even though we lost touch growing up I very often thought about her and remembered all the trouble we use to cause my mom and Aunt Net and being on restriction even though Aunt Net never made it last long cause we would bug her like crazy wanting to go outside and play in the woods like we were swamp people swinging on tree vines and walking in waist deep water NEVER thinking about the snakes or other harmful varmants that could hurt us,we were tomboys, barefooted and in shorts and didn't matter what the weather was like. We were like sisters growing up and I have seen how Paula would fight her illness, she was a very determined and strong spirited individual.I know she will be missed by many, My Deepest condolences, love and prayers to her famliy.
