PAUL EVAN BRYAN

bryan-paul

TYBEE ISLAND, GEORGIA - Paul Evan Bryan slipped quietly away on Sunday, October 31st on Tybee Island, Georgia.

Paul was born in Savannah on January 23, 1980 to parents Randi and Steven Bryan and had a brother, Aaron, who joined the family a few years later. Paul was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing and was always the first to land a fish.  He was a good natured and loving son who truly lived each day the way that he wanted; cooking, fishing, camping, boating or just hanging out with his friends listening to music. He was always quick to forgive and never forgot to let you know that he loved you. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Mitzi Bryan and his beloved dog, Boz.

Mourning our loss is Paul’s maternal grandparents, Myrtle and Louis Cox; Aunts Sunni (Barry) Brown, Mickey (Lynn) Boyles, Maxine (Mark) Sussman; Uncle Jeffrey (Harriet) Bryan and many cousins.  Last but not least is his companion, Anna Campbell. We will never be the same.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery on the bluff overlooking the Wilmington River conducted by The Reverend A. Edwin Ayers, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy – 517 East Congress Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401 or Coastal
Pet Rescue – Post Office Box 30462, Savannah, Georgia 31410.

Anna Campbell's uncle and I had the pleasure of spending some time with Paul on several occassions at the beach. He was such a nice young man and will be missed dearly by his family and the Campbell family.

Paul was a dear friend to many. He had a sweet heart and a loving soul. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. The departure of our close friend should ever remind us of the fragility of this life. I will use his memory to remember his spirit which inspires me to be kind and sincere as he always was. I believe Paul was simply too pure a heart for this world. We love you Paul and will always feel your presence.
God bless all family and friends.

I loved Paul the day that he was born. He was a precious little baby, and a precious little blonde haired boy. I loved him then and always.

You all are in our prayers. I remember that each and every time I was with Paul or around Paul he was so easygoing, well mannered and so easy to be a friend with. I had the pleasure years back of going on a ski trip that my younger brother Jordan and Paul went on together and I also took a few buddies. That was the first time I had spent with Paul and I remember that trip like it was yesterday. It was late March 1996 and we went to Breckenridge for 6 days of skiing. It was truly the best ski trip ever: we had about a foot of fresh snow per day for 4 days straight, great accomodations and great friends there. Having Paul on the trip was a bonus for sure. He was a great friend to my brother, to me and to all around him.

Our hearts ache for your entire family. We remember Paul as a happy pre-teen full of life. We were sorry to see your family move away, but delighted at your new adventure. When we think of Fallon & Chelsea's childhood we think of Paul and Aaron. I know Fallon was there to meet Paul. Please know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the coming days and months. Paul will not be forgotten by any of us.

My heart breaks for each of you. You have a wonderful family and I shall never forget the good times shared at the Spring residence. It seems like yesterday when Fallon and Paul were so beautiful and energetic. Perhaps they can share new good times in another lifetime now.

God bless you and keep you in his hands.

I am so sorry I could not be there with you all today. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as will Paul. He was an amazing son, brother, and man who I considered a trusted friend, which are few and far between in this world. The last time I was with Paul, he took myself, Lisa and Randi crabbing, we caught a lot of Blue Crabs, got the boat stuck, and had a blast. He always made me laugh and I loved hanging out with him. He will be missed until we meet again in a better place. Paul thanks for all the many years of memories, you will not be forgotten, and be sure to send my love to Fallon. All my Love to you and yours. Tres

I know all too well the size of the holes in your hearts right now. Remember and talk about the good times you shared and what a blessing to your lives Paul was and in time you will heal. My heart and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Sending lots of prayers, love, and thoughts to your family & friends. While I only know Randi & Steve through my parents, if Paul was anything like them (which it sounds like he was) then the world has suffered a tragic loss.

Many sympathies,
Lauren
