Max delivered the euolgy at my step-father's funeral 41 years ago. He and Rosetta were much loved in this area and not just in the local Jewish community. My parents Ernie and Virginia Berle considered them among their dearest friends. Upbeat, positive and a person who gave of his time and resources easiley Max left an impression on all who met Max and Rosetta as well. His passing will be remembered here among those who knew him as a good man who left the world better than he found it.
