Gramma,

It's so hard to let go of someone like you, I remember going to Bush Gardens and all the fun places you & grampa took us as kids. We all had so much fun when you came to visit. It's harder when you're grown up to find the time or make the time to visit sometimes, but I am grateful for the time we have had in the last year. Losing you & grampa is hard for me. I love you both for all you've done & all you taught me growing up. I am very lucky to be your grand daughter & I know that someday I will see you again. To my aunts & uncles I wish you well in this time of need. My heart goes out to you all.

Grandma, I am so glad that you are back with Grandpa now...... I think of you both often. Although there were many visits during my childhood to see you, I really enjoyed the few visits we had over these last years the most. Cant wait to see you again. Lotsa love,

Do not stand at my grave

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

A Daughter's Promise

By Allie B. Quaglieri

Every time that I smile,
Every time that I sigh,
I think of your face,
And a tear escapes my eye.

You were my world,
My inspiration and my heart,
But when you left me,
I thought I would fall apart.

You were my best friend,
My one true 'confidante',
And that's not all you were,
You were also my mom.

I didn't want to live without you,
But you would have wanted me to,
And if there's anyone I want to make happy,
That anyone is you

I would have given anything to have you back,
But I know now that it was meant to be,
For you are still watching from up there,
And I know you're watching me.

I'll make you proud mom,
I'm going to fulfill your wish,
You're going to see me and smile,
That's a daughter's promise.

We will miss you so very much and are so grateful for all you gave to us. We have all those memories to keep you forever in our lives. You were my google before there was google, I will always strive to have the knowledge and wisdom you possessed.

Grandma,
You will be missed by all of your family and friends. You were a great woman who successfully raised six kids which is no easy feat. Say hi to grandpa for us and I hope you guys are doing fine. Love you and miss you much.

I pray you'll be our eyes
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don't know

Let this be our prayer when we lose our way
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace
To a place where we'll be safe

I pray we'll find your light
And hold it in our hearts

When stars go out each night
Let this be our prayer

We love you and will miss all the times we had together.

We won't say good-bye, Mom, we will just say that we will see you soon. You and Daddy enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon tea by the pool and save our places at your table. We look forward to the day we will be together again. You are still the best and my favorite Mom! Can't imagine life without you and Daddy, but I guess I will begin to learn. Love you so very much and we will strive to extend your legacy of love. "Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning."

Grandma, I am happy for all the amazing memories I have of you and of Grandpa. I still cannot eat golden raisins or saltine crackers with butter on them without smiling and remembering visiting almost you everyday after school when I was a child. We had so many good times. Now you two are together again I hope you can reminisce on the good times of the past while you watch down on all of us. You are very missed.

Grandma,
Oh Grandma Marilou. I knew this day would always come but I never wanted it to. You mean so much to me. I miss so badly when you and Pop pop would drive soo far out of your way to come to Shells and have me serve you.(you would always get the fishermans feast and Pop pop the blckened catfish that they made special just for him) You always seemed so proud of me no matter what I was doing.(like the day you pinned me at my nursing graduation) Thank you so much for being the great person you were. Thank you so much for my mother who reminds me so much of you. All I hope is that I grow to be just as wonderfull as you both. Thank you for all the great memories (like when we were out by your pool before it was screened in and a bird pooped on your shoulder and you told me it was "good luck"... I still believe that to this day), the great times (staying up til 3am watching "The Golden Girls"), the great love... all the answers(If I didnt know and mom didnt know.. you ALWAYS did) I wish you were still here to give me all the answers! I know that youre in a better place with Pop pop and Joshua and I know youre all watching over us. That gives me a great deal of comfort but does not help with the hurt. Please tell them both I love and miss them!!!!!!! I MISS YOU ALL!!!!!!! P.S. and if you could just please pass it on to GOD that I dont think I can take anymore loses! I want everyone else to stay here with me for awhile! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH GRANDMA!!!! I'll think of you always and will strive to be the person you always believed me to be!... I could go all day writing to you. Remember we use to be pen pales altho we lived 5min away from eachother. OH I MISS YOU! I LOVE YOU!

God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered"Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
