LOIS "SUSAN" RUSSELL DANIEL

RICHMOND HILL, GEORGIA - Lois “Susan” Russell Daniel, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, wife of Dan “Gene” Daniel, lost a six year battle with cancer September 13, 2011.

Born in Lakehurst, New Jersey on September 17, 1948, she was the daughter of Peggy Louise Fielder Russell and the late Preston Stewart Russell. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jon Stewart Russell and Stacey DeWitt Russell.

Susan’s hobbies were her cats, gardening, crocheting and loving her family and friends. She was a member of Ferguson Avenue Baptist Church. Susan was a born again Christian who was always quick to share the message of the Free Gift of Salvation as the only way to Heaven. This was accomplished by the birth, life, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

For all that would hear she would share the message of Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by Grace are ye saved through faith; And that not of yourselves; It is the Gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Trusting God now, Susan’s eyes can see, her ears can hear and her heart can be filled with the joy of the things God has prepared for her because He loves Him. As this is written in 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Susan will be sorely missed by her mother Peggy, her husband Gene, her children Ellie, Wesley and Matthew and her granddaughter Easton. Many other relatives and friends join them in mourning her loss and long for the day to be rejoined with her in heaven. May our God in heaven through the power of the Holy Spirit allow us to be comforted by these words. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.

The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Robert H. Dimmitt. Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.

Remembrances: Hospice Savannah – Post Office Box 13190, Savannah, Georgia 31416-0190.
