I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of my friend Ken.
I got to know him earlier this year when I gave him a music lesson.
Ken was a gentle soul who loved life and loved music.
On his last night he stopped by the Hangfire and hung out with my trivia buddies. Ken brought me a beer and talked about his family and some of his travels.
He showed me a picture of his new guitar and was excited about playing more music.
We ended up at Jinx talking to a couple of pretty ladies.
He was in good spirits that night and I remember his smiling face when I left to go home.
I will miss my friend Ken Silva.
