LeROY ALBERT AARONS

 

FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA - LeRoy Albert Aarons, 88, of Falls Church, Virginia, widower of Maxine Gold Aaron, died Monday morning, February 1, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Kenneth R. Leitner.

Leroy was a strong force in his advocacy for people with developmental disabilities. His son,Richard, has worked with our organization for 23 years. Richard's progress has been a direct result of the support and push for an independent lifestyle by Leroy. We are all blessed to have known Leroy.

Mr. Aarons will always be remembered by those in the developmental/intellectual disability field who had the pleasure to know him. He was a strong and skillful advocate who did so much for us at NVTC. Leroy and his wife Maxine made a huge difference for so many people!
