Larry, will be missed greatly by myself and the other crossing guards. He would call me about once every couple weeks and check up on me, see how I was doing. He would speak to me in yiddish and sometimes I understood but mostly didn't. So, it is possible he was making things up. He had a great sense of humor and was a true mensch.

I have known Larry since his family and mine lived in a duplex back around 1950. He was one of my best friends back then and I will miss him but continue to have many fond memories.

Anita, and family, WOW, Larry was truly a great friend of mine and had good times at Belk's, where both of us worked. Also, our group classmate's lunch at Spanky's was a current event as much as possible. He will never be forgotten and what a funny guy he was, and known as the DOCTOR.

Sometimes in life we run into an individual who makes an impact on us - Larry is just that person. I met Mr. Homansky this past Sunday at Hospice Savannah (I am a volunteer) - I was so impressed by his wonderful sense of humor and our mutual enjoyment of "Law and Order" (we talked about all the actors in this TV series) - he sure could make me laugh even under the circumstances that we met under. His love of family was on his mind and he was looking forward to having their company later in the day. Even though I only spent 1 hour of time with him - I will remember him forever.

I will remember the lengthy discussions, heated debates, sound advice and the tons of laughter that he provided. It was a joy to have met and befriended him. He will be sorely missed.
