SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Joseph E. Catenaci, Sr., 96, formerly of Long Beach Island, New Jersey and Hilton Head, South Carolina, passed away April 25 in Savannah.

Mr. Catenaci was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Gladys Dingee Catenaci and son, Robert Joseph Catenaci.

He is survived by daughter Joan Vastardis and husband H. Dudley New of Savannah, son Joseph E . Catenaci, Jr. and wife Cheryl of  Ocala, Florida, daughter-in-law Barbara Catenaci of Bluffton, South Carolina, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

There will be a private family interment at Bonaventure Cemetery.
