What a fighter your mother was and tough as nails, but a sweeter woman you wouldn't find.
She leaves a large mark on the lives of so many, family, friends, patients, one we will not forget, but I don't need to tell you that.
Remember what she taught you, keep her flame alive in what you do.

Dear Bill, Buddy, and Debbie;

I'm aggrieved today (Sunday) learning of Jo Ann's passing. She's honestly been in my prayers over the past few years, and I know that God and Jesus love the woman far more than we mere earthly mortals can even imagine and that she's infinitely better off now than she was in her physical life here with us. My biggest personal regret is that I missed seeing her before she departed...which was precisely the same way I felt after learning of your daddy's departure. To me, the 'Coastal Empire' will never be the same without the likes of Jo Ann, Sonny, and so many others like them so long gone now.

In my eyes, Jo Ann was one of the most righteous Christians I've ever known. I looked up to her, I admired her; and truly, in my boyhood years I looked upon her as a "mother figure" whom I would have trusted my life with; and I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt/feels that way about her either. If any mother in Chatham County, Georgia ever deserved a "Mother Of The Year" award over the '60s, '70s, and '80s it was she; and in that alone, y'all were truly and richly blessed by God for over 40 to 50 years!

I love y'all, I loved/love your daddy, and I loved/love your momma. If I can be of any assistance in any way, please let me know. Y'all have my sincerest and deepest sympathies and condolences; and y'all will most certainly be in my daily prayers...without fail.

Your Brother In-Christ,
Mike the "Seed" Bowman
