Mary Jo,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jerry was a great leader for our purchasing group at Western/GBFE. His positive attitude instilled the same in all of us. He also became a friend as we spent more time together, especially on paper mill trips and on the golf course.

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He was a wonderful boss. I will always remember what he taught me before he even hired me to work in the Purchasing Department at Western Publishing. During the last interview he asked me "Do you really want this job?". I was surprised and said "Yes, of course" and he proceeded to encourage me to always ask for what I want. I have thought of that lesson often over the years, and always followed his advice. I will be praying for you, Jerry's family, as I know he will be sorely missed.
God Bless,
Renee Marek
