Since Janice and I were the only granddaughters on the McGahee side of the family we were very close and sort of spoiled. I have many wonderful memories of spending vacation time together at the week long family reunions. I always appreciated the phone calls she made to my mother after my dad passed away. I hope that you will take comfort in the wonderful memories and love.

I have known Mrs Jan for 11 years. She loved her husband and her grandson Blake. She never missed anything Blake was in. Her percan pies was my favorite.
She is not suffering anymore. Thank you Mrs. Jan for your friendship and the love you showed to my family.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Barnhill . She was a wonderful neighbor on Seminole Street. I will never forget the coffee, Fruitcake and the conversation. She was always so nice to me. She loved her family very much.

Janice was like a second mom to Mark. She made sure he had transportation to football games, etc. right along with her family. Janice loved everyone: her husband, her family, her neighbors and friends, and her church. She was always laughing and "cuttin up". Janice always left everyone feeling better than before she arrived. I hope to be like her when I get her age. Love and prayers to all of you.

I was just looking up Mrs. Barnhill because I had been thinking about her so much. I was shocked to find that she had passed. I guess I just thought that she would always be there. I loved her soooo much and I think of her often. My family, Jonathan, Christopher, Heather and I, had the opportunity to live next to the family for 4 years from 1990-1994. She was my hero. She played doctor to my kids, pulled Christopher's teeth for me and loved them like they were her own. The world is a better place for her having graced it and we are better people for having been blessed to have her in our lives. Our love goes out to the family, esp Mr. Barnhill and Blake. We are so sorry for your loss!
Love,
Jonathan and Teresa Cox and Family
