GARDEN CITY, GEORGIA - Herbert Lawrence Pike, Sr., 44, of Garden City, Georgia, husband of Tammie Dondellar Jarrard Pike, died Sunday afternoon, February 7, 2010, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Edgar L. Pike and Thetis Finch Pike. Mr. Pike was a welder and was a jack of all trades.
Surviving are his wife, Tammie Dondellar Jarrard Pike, of Garden City, Georgia; his mother, Thetis Finch Pike, of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter, Brandy Kay Pike; two sons, Herbert Pike, Jr. and Michael Price all of Garden City, Georgia; two brothers, James Trull and his wife, Linda, and Edgar Pike all of Savannah, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made in honor of Herbert to assist with the funeral expense.
