A Life so well-lived...that's Doug Brush!
This man knew the true essence of living and he shared with those around him, the art of living life to the fullest! What a huge gift he gave us. As someone who learned from him at an impressionable age in my teens, I have carried his zest for being true to oneself in all the expressions of a life. Dougie taught me through his actions to be passionate about those things that are God-given in each of us, as separate and unique individuals! That's huge!! Thank you to the only big brother I ever had, thanks to Robyn sharing him with me!
Dougie will live on in all of us, as we strive for being in our own true essence of uniqeness and in his honor, this is my vow.
I love you Dougie and will be watching for your spirit as I listen to the happy sounds of birds laughing in the wind....

Tressa, I'm sorry for your loss. It was pleasure to know and work with Doug over the years. Outside of work we shared interests in music and boating and came very close to living directly across the "creek" from you guys. There are many great memories and stories. He enjoyed working on Medieval Times lighting systems across the country. His exceptional work and relationships with the technicians will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Tressa and the Brush family on Doug's passing. Doug and I had a ton of great memories together - Iron Butterfly concert at Asbury Park Convention Center, dropping a new engine into his Mustang on-the-fly in rural Wisconsin when he moved to the West Coast, tetherball on the driveway at Sutton Drive, the club Wilbr, his old Rambler...so many good times as high schoolers and young men. Doug was a great friend and a really good guy. His passing deeply saddens me and my heart goes out to all of you.
