Ly & Joe,

It has been years since we have been together but our fun times in the 132nd and B Company are cherished memories. Dave was one of the good guys. A first class friend, father and husband with pilot skills equaled by few. The years have not dampened our friendship and our blessings are with you, Joe and the rest for the family during this difficult time. Father Guido Sarduchi will be missed by all that knew him and the thought of Dave pulling that character off brings a smile to my face as I write this note. Knowing Dave made lots of people smile!

Ly, Joe and Jackie,
Dave was a great pilot and friend. He and his buddy Father Guido Sarducci were well known throughout the Chinook community. His knowledge of all things mechanical was legendary among army friends and around the neighborhood. I think he could figure out and fix anything. He taught me so much about Chinooks and how they work and also how to fly them. We worked together for many years and he always kept me laughing. No matter how serious a situation seemed, whether it be aircraft problems or dealing with army redtape Dave could always find humor in the situation and a solution to the problem. He could always be depended upon to stand up for and help his friends. He made a lasting impression of what a good husband, father, friend, soldier, worker and citizen should be. Everyone who knew Dave loved him and we all will miss him.

Ly, Joe, and Jackie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dave was a wonderful person and a great friend. Friends gained while serving in the military are special friends; we may not see them often, but they are friends forever. We wish for Dave eternal peace and happiness in heaven. God's peace be with you.

You'll be sorely missed ole man. From your Buffalo v. Miami bets with Jeff, to the careful wisdom on how to fly "A Model's" you took the time to share with me. Our "camping trips" were legendary and something I miss today. You leave a void that can't be closed. Clear weather and tailwinds Dave.

From Rotor Wing, To Fixed Wing And Now To Angel Wings Dave Has Mastered Them All. Over The Years He Has Taught Me Much About Those Wings But His Greatest Lesson Of All
Was How To Be A Friend.
Ly, Joe & Jackie, know this, he will forever live in our thoughts.

Ly, Joe and Jackie, my thoughts are with you during this sad time. Dave was a good friend and one of a small group of people that had an impact early in my Army career that continued until I retired. He was one of the smartest chinook maintenance officers that I've come across. When Dave finished with an aircraft you knew it was ready and everything on it was in good shape. He was a great person - I'll miss him.

Ly and family,
I was deeply saddened by the news of Dave's passing. I first met you and Dave in Hawaii. We lived just across the court from one another. Dave would always help me fix my old Toyota. He was such a great mechanic and always had time to help a friend. We served together again in Savannah, went to Honduras together, and shared many great times. Dave could always make me laugh. His performances of Father Guido will never be forgotten. He will be sorely missed.
