To Ann, Don, and the extended family, I am so sorry I am not able to make it back to pay my respects. Dick was always such a fun person to be around, smiling, entertaining, and cracking jokes. I will always remember him with airplanes and oysters. Christmas eve won't be the same.

We will miss Dick at the Tri-County R/C Flyers field. He was a very talented model airplane builder, pilot and instructor for the new pilots. He always had a smile on his face and was a true pleasure to be around. Dick gave a lot of his time for our club helping out with projects and field maintenance. Our prayers and condolences go out to his family.

Don, your father was dedicated American and Airman, I felt honored as I read his obituary. It is unknown heroes like Mr. Richard that has paved the way for other military personel to follow. Though I can only read about his profession, it must have been an honor for you to to have had Mr. Richard as a father.

I often think of the guidance, counseling, parenting and love that my parents showed me during their time on this earth. You will, like me learn to cherish the memories.

Thank for all you do and all that you did while working as site director for Columbia College here at the AEC.

Mr Dick was a great man who I had so much respect for. He was retired from the Air Force like my dad and reminded me of him. The way he handled the people that he trained at the R/C field was wonderful. And anytime that he mentioned his wife you could so the love in his eyes. God threw away the mold when he created Mr. Dick. He was one of a kind! My sympathy to all that will be missing him, but mostly his family. The new Toby Keith song "I'm crying for Me" is what comes to my mind. God Bless you all.
