CLIO EMMANUEL LUPO MURPHY

                   

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Clio Emmanuel Lupo Murphy, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, devoted mother and loving wife of Robert Murphy, died Friday morning, December 30, 2011, at Memorial University Medical Center.

Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Emmanuel Lupo and the late Pella Valakos Lupo. She graduated from Lasell Jr. College in Auburndale, Massachusetts. Mrs. Murphy enjoyed boating, skiing and golfing with her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Robert Murphy of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter, Kathleen Price and James Powell of Wilmington, Delaware and one son, Daniel Murphy and his wife, Connie, of Hopkinton, Massachusetts and her faithful dog, Cooper.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning at St. James Catholic Church conducted by Father Mark J. Ross. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends following the Mass of Christian Burial at the church.
