SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Claire Sack Bazemore, 91, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Walton Loraine Bazemore, Sr., died Tuesday afternoon, May 25, 2010, at Hospice Savannah.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Carl Sack and the late Ruby Friend Sack. Mrs. Bazemore was a homemaker.

Surviving are four sons, Walton L. Bazemore, Jr. and his wife, Peggy, Gary Bazemore and his wife, Trudy, and Leo Bazemore, all of Savannah and Larry Bazemore and his wife, Gladys Joy, of Dublin; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.

The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Stephen A. Murdock, Sr.  Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery - North.
