SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Betty “Beth” Ruth Jones Killgo Shearin, 78, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of George Winburn Killgo and Milton William Shearin, died Friday evening, January 7, 2011, in Glennville.

Born in Lakeland, Florida, she was a daughter of the late William Newton Jones and the late Versie Marchant Jones Aldridge.  Mrs. Shearin was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple. She worked for Liberty National Bank and Trust Company and was later with Lifestar at Memorial Medical Center.  In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frankie Jones.

Surviving are one daughter, Linda Lynn Healan and her husband, Danny, of Ellabell, Georgia; one grandson, Lee Schmidt, and one great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Schmidt.

The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Betty Byrd.
