ALICE DEAL CRUMPTON YARDMAN

BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY AND SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Alice Deal Crumpton Yardman, 81, of Bowling Green, Kentucky and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday morning, June 28, 2010, at Hospice Center of Bowling Green.

The Claxton, GA native was born on April 5, 1929. She was a retired realtor and a member of White Stone Quarry Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Alva Riska and Alma Crumpton of Claxton, GA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Rogers, two brothers, WD “Smuddy” Crumpton and Sam Crumpton, and a daughter-in-law, Jodi Yardman.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin Leek and her husband Tim, both of Bowling Green, KY; three sons, Michael Yardman and his wife Beth; Charles Yardman; and Scott Yardman, all of Savannah, GA. Two sisters, Doris Smith and Majo Hodges, both of Savannah, GA; three brothers, Waymon Crumpton of Savannah, GA; Pruitt Crumpton of Bessemer, AL; and Dan Crumpton of Warrenton, GA; 5 grandchildren Chris Yardman and his wife Jody; Tim Leek, Jr.; Seth Yardman; Amber Zuccarell and her husband Ryan; Megan, Chelsea and Blythe Yardman; and Brian and Jessica Yardman; and 5 great grandchildren; Megan, Cassie, Brett, Annabelle, and Kaden.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.

The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at Faith Primitive Baptist Church conducted by Elder Dean Robins and Elder Ben Fordham.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Chuck, Scott, and family. Please accept my sincerest sympathies for the passing of your mom. I have very fond memories of her when we were growing up as next door neighbors. She was a super person, and I'm sure she will be missed.
